CT and MRI Certificates

Both the CT and MRI Certificate programs are offered as hybrid courses. These programs are currently available to applicants who are licensed, registered radiographers by the ARRT and the state of Maryland.

What to expect

  • Expect approximately six hours of coursework each week plus time for studying and completing assignments.
  • Classes for CT will be delivered using a combination of synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods. Synchronous classes will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays using a video connected platform.
  • This is a six month program which runs twice a year.
  • A minimum of 12 hours a week is required for clinical.

What to expect

  • Expect approximately six hours of coursework each week plus time for studying and completing assignments.
  • Classes will be delivered using a combination of face to face, synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods. Classes will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays (with synchronous classes using a video communication platform). In-person classes will be held on the Essex Campus.
  • This program is a nine month program which runs late August through May.
  • A minimum of 16 hours a week is required for clinical. Clinical placements are offered in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, surrounding counties and the Eastern Shore.
