CT, MRI and Mammography

Increasing your job prospects and earning potential

CCBC supports the career expansion of our communities’ registered radiographers. Whether you’re aiming to specialize, increase your earnings or take on new responsibilities, our certifications in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), along with specialized Mammography courses, can open doors to the most in-demand roles of medical imaging.

Computed Tomography

CT detects the kinds of internal conditions that a standard X-Ray can’t, allowing technologists to get a better glimpse of a patient's bones, organs and tissues. The job isn’t just technical – it’s personal. With a strong understanding of anatomy, imaging protocols and safety practices, technologists prepare patients for the CT procedure, ensuring their comfort from start to finish.

This certification prepares you to apply to sit for the CT registry examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Apart from our certification program, we also offer a CT exam preparation course:

Mammography

Mammography technologists not only detect signs of breast abnormalities, but they often do so before symptoms appear, saving countless lives through early detection and diagnosis. Through our mammography courses, registered radiographers can perform procedures under the supervision of professional technologists and gain the fundamental knowledge needed to enter the advanced field of mammography.
