CT detects the kinds of internal conditions that a standard X-Ray can’t, allowing technologists to get a better glimpse of a patient's bones, organs and tissues. The job isn’t just technical – it’s personal. With a strong understanding of anatomy, imaging protocols and safety practices, technologists prepare patients for the CT procedure, ensuring their comfort from start to finish.
This certification prepares you to apply to sit for the CT registry examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Clinical hours
You'll get 12 hours of weekly clinical training, guided by top professionals in the field.
