Offering a range of classes, including acting (for stage and screen), stagecraft, design, voice and diction, script analysis, playwriting, play production and movement for the actor.

CCBC is one of the few community-college theatre programs in the country to be accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. In the theatre program, students receive instruction, performance and technical training in two large theatres (a 338-seat proscenium and a 443-seat thrust stage), as well as a black box theatre.

CCBC’s theatre department produces five academic productions a year on two campuses, along with student-led productions and also participates in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
