CCBC has arranged articulation agreements or transfer partnerships with many four-year schools. Below you will these guaranteed agreements grouped by major.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
  • Apply the A.A.S. in Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Dispatcher, Flight Operations Management, Professional Pilot – Airplane, Professional Pilot – Helicopter, Professional Pilot - Unmanned Aircraft Systems toward the 120 credit hours required for the baccalaureate degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) when all transfer credits are completed with at least a 2.0 GPA. Please see the attachment agreement for a listing of all CCBC transfer credits accepted at ERAU.

Morgan State University 
  • ASCEND Program is "A Student-Centered, Entrepreneurship Development (ASCEND) Training Model to Increase Diversity in the Biomedical Research Workforce." CCBC students graduating from CCBC majors such as Mental Health, Physics, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Engineering, or Nursing may apply the MSU ASCEND Program. ASCEND will create a new cadre of biomedical researchers who are both familiar with the root causes of health and health disparity problems and highly competent to address them. CCBC’s admits to the ASCEND Program will find the opportunity to participate in ASCEND’s Student Research Center, Summer Research Institute, and ASCEND Scholars program, which provide students with resources (partial tuition, a monthly stipend, travel funds, and more).   • A.A.S. Criminal Justice to B.S. Criminal Justice
    • This Bee Line agreement is an efficient, accelerated, transfer access program for faster completion of UB undergraduate programs. The Bee Line offers CCBC students a structured pathway for attaining a four-year baccalaureate degree. Key components of the program include priority access to UB’s Criminal Justice program, associate degree completion, and early access to UB services. To apply to the CCBC-UB Criminal Justice Beeline, fill out the: UB undergraduate non-degree seeking application, and email it to the UB transfer admissions office. Include a note that you are a CCBC applicant to the Beeline, indicating which courses you would like to register for.

Johns Hopkins University
  • Graduates of the School of Justice that meet all admissions requirements at Johns Hopkins University - Division of Public Safety Leadership, can transfer all their CCBC credits and apply them to the Bachelor of Science programs at JHU. Contact the School of Justice for more information. 
The Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions (MPCTC) and the Maryland Criminal Justice Consortium of College Educators.
  • Agreement between The Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions (MPCTC) and the Maryland Criminal Justice Consortium of College Educators. A MHEC approved statewide articulation agreement for Criminal Justice programs. Please send Linda Fleischer an email for more information.

Guaranteed Admissions Agreements
  • CCBC graduates are guaranteed admissions to Strayer University. All courses required to complete their associate's degree at CCBC will be transferred towards their bachelor's program in their entirety, including "D" grades. Prior Learning (PLA) credits already a part of the associate's degree will also apply towards the bachelor's degree. 
Multiple Degree Block Transfer Options
  • Bellevue University — Multiple Degree Block Transfer: Any Associates Degree at CCBC. Block Transfers: BFA, BA, BS.
  • Capella University — Multiple Degree Block Transfer. Block Transfers: BS Psychology,BS Public Safety, BS IT, BS Business, BSN (Nursing from RN) or BS Business Health Care Management. 
  • Strayer University — Multiple Degree Agreement: Strayer will accept students’ entire associate degree, including any life experience credits already evaluated as part of the associate degree and any C- or D grades.

  • The Transfer Student Alliance guarantees CCBC students admission to The University of Maryland Baltimore County, housing and a scholarship. Please contact Nathan Fanning at UMBC for more information.


University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP) for CCBC Students

  • MTAP provides a pathway for CCBC students who intend to complete a bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland. Students participate in MTAP while taking courses at CCBC.  Students are encouraged to apply to the program as soon as they are accepted to the CCBC, but can apply by the deadline prior to their last semester. 

*After applying to the MTAP program, CCBC student applicants need to send an email to the Register's Office to find out how to request the transcript (fee waived). It is the responsibility of the student to complete this step.
