CCBC Testing Centers
The Community College of Baltimore County Testing Centers support student success by providing the proctoring of a wide variety of examinations in a professional, equitable, secure and positive testing environment that promotes the academic and professional advancement of CCBC students, faculty, staff and the Baltimore County community.
Testing Centers provide the following:

- What do you need to know before taking the placement test?
- How can I practice for the placement test?
To support the Fall 2018 Extended Registration Hours, the Testing Centers at Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex, and Owings Mills will also be open - (View extended hours)
CCBC Course Exams
- Need to make-up an exam for a face to face class (instructor approval required),
- Are required to take an exam for an online or distance learning course
- Require testing accommodations as recommended by the office of Disability Support Services

Are you a online learning student who lives out of state? Find out what you need to do to obtain an out of state proctor.
College Credit by Examination
CLEP - The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course.
DSST/DANTES - DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) helps you receive college credits for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom through a suite of exams in many college subject areas.
Appointments are required. CLEP and DSST exams are not available at all sites and are only available at certain times.
