Admission to CCBC and Instant Admissions

With the assistance of a CCBC admissions counselor, becoming a CCBC college student is easy! High school seniors should complete the following steps:

Step One: Meet with a CCBC admissions counselor. Complete and submit the application for admission, include a check or money order made payable to CCBC for $15.00, and request that your high school send an official high school transcript. If you have taken the SAT or ACT, request that the scores be sent to CCBC.

Step Two: Take the placement test as recommended by the counselor.

Step Three: Complete the financial aid application with your parents.

Step Four: Meet with a college adviser to review assessment scores (English, reading, and math) and choose your courses. Attend an orientation session on the campus you plan to attend, and register for classes. (Consider enrolling in summer classes and move ahead more quickly into your career!)

Important! Apply and register early. Enjoy the excitement of being a graduating senior. Your college plans are ready!

Instant Admissions

In the Baltimore area, CCBC counselors meet with many high school students during an Instant Admissions session. Instant Admissions is an opportunity for high school seniors to reduce anxiety about the college application process and build a solid plan for the future. Watch for an Instant Admissions announcement at your high school and meet with a CCBC counselor. Follow the steps described on this page.

Applying to CCBC with Transfer Credit from High School

  2. Complete a CCBC Application for Admission.
  3. Request an official high school transcript
