Advanced Placement examinations are available to high school juniors and seniors after successfully completing advanced placement courses. Attainment of the scores listed below will earn the credits indicated. CCBC does not charge any additional fees for transcripting these credits. It is necessary to have the results sent to the Registrar at the CCBC Catonsville, Dundalk or Essex campus in order to be awarded the credits. Information on the tests, testing dates and costs is available from local high schools.
The applicability of these credits to degree or certificate requirements is made by the appropriate department/program administrators. All credit awards are subject to existing CCBC policies. The transferability and application of those credits to other two year and four year college requirements varies greatly. Students are encouraged to make themselves aware of specific APL policies at other colleges.
