Athletics Philosophy
A combination of talented student athletes, quality coaching and
top-notch facilities makes athletics at CCBC Catonsville a unique
experience. Catonsville athletic teams compete for state, regional and
national championships in five men's and six women's sports.
At CCBC Catonsville, the goal of the athletics staff is to develop
students who can compete successfully both in the classroom and the
athletic arena. Under the guidance of our coaches and the student
athlete academic coordinator, our student athletes are challenged to
meet academic goals. On the field, our teams have earned 23 NJCAA
National Tournaments, 17 Region XX championships, 17 Maryland JUCO State
Championships, and an average of 20 individual national/regional/state
awards since 1990. At all times, CCBC Catonsville student athletes are
expected to adhere to the highest standards of sportsmanship and conduct.
NJCAA Eligibility
The eligibility rules for an incoming student at CCBC Catonsville can be
very complicated. Anyone wishing to participate in athletics should
contact the appropriate coach or the athletic department for information.
