Sunday, August 26, 2007 vs Laramie County (W 2-1)
CCBC Catonsville opened the 2007 campaign with a 2-1 win over fourth ranked Laramie County Community College at CCBC Catonsville. With less than five minutes gone in the first half, sophomore Kayla Peevy earned a penalty kick after being taken out by the Laramie goalie on a hard charging attack on the net. As a result, freshman Jennah Kilroy confidently banged in the first goal of the season. Laramie bounced back in the second half and tallied a goal with 19 minutes remaining in the contest. Nevertheless, the Lady Cardinals maintained their composure and executed a precision passing play from Peevy to Ashley Horn to Shameka Gordon eight yards in front of the goal. Gordon controlled the feed and calmly placed the ball past the Laramie netminder for the win

Wednesday, September 5, 2007 vs College of Southern Maryland (W 6-0)
Shaneka Gordon's three goals led CCBC Catonsville to a 6-0 road win over the College of Southern Maryland. In less than five minutes into the first half, Saige Steinmetz hit Gordon with a long crossing pass. Gordon controlled the pass, challenged the CSM defenders and patiently slotted the ball in the net. Two minutes later, the Cardinals rushed the CSM goal and sophomore midfielder Katie Starr delivered a heel pass that freshman Kristen Collison easily converted. Ten minutes later, Starr gave a quick pass to Gordon, who took the ball deep to the corner and gave a ground pass to sophomore midfielder Kayla Peevy, who placed it strategically for the Cardinals' third goal. Gordon closed out the first half scoring on a feed from Jennah Kilroy to give the Cardinals a 4-0 lead. With 20 minutes gone in the second period, Jen Moberly finds Gordon, who controls the ball, jumps over the keeper, and bangs the ball in the back of the net for her first hat trick. Catonsville closed out the scoring with nine minutes remaining when Ashley Arnett attacks with the ball and passes to Starr, who slots a pass to Kilroy who finishes it off.

Sunday, September 9, 2007 vs Cape Fear (W 6-1)
CCBC Catonsville continues to rack up points in the early going, beating Cape Fear 6-1 at home. It was the second straight game the Cardinals have scored six points. Ashley Horn opened the barrage in the ninth minute when she received an oustanding throw-in from Kristen Collison. Horn headflicked Collison's pass to give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead. Shaneka Gordon continued the scoring twenty minutes later when she handled an excellent pass from Kayla Peevey to increase the advantage to 2-0. With less than 30 seconds on the clock, Gordon handles a feed from Jennah Kilroy, reads the defense, and blisters a 20 yard shot that sails over the keepers head for a 3-0 lead. With 15 minutes off the clock in the second half, Gordon picks off a pass and dribbles through the defense to pick up her second hat trick in two games. With ten minutes left, Shaneka Gordon finds her sister, Shameka, who pounds home the Cardinal goal. Three minutes later, the Gordon/Gordon duo hooks up again as Shaneka holds the ball and waits for Shameka to make a run. Shaneka hits Shameka who tallies the Cardinal's final goal. Cape Fear notched it's only goal with two minutes left in the game.

Thursday, September 13, 2007 vs Darton (GA) (L 5-2)
CCBC Catonsville suffered a 5-2 road loss to Darton (GA) at West Florida University in Pensacola, Florida. Despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead, the travel-weary Cardinals could not hold the advantage as Darton tallied five unanswered second half goals to secure the win. Kayla Peevy opened the scoring for CCBC Catonsville in the 10th minute on a deflected shot by Jen Moberly. Twenty minutes later, Kristen Collison corrals a pass from Peevy and drills a 25 yard shot to give the Cardinals a 2-0 halftime lead before Darton bounced back in the second half.
Saturday, September 15, 2007 vs Cerritos (W 2-1)
CCBC Catonsville continued its Florida swing with a 2-1 win over California-based Cerritos in Pensacola, Florida. Early in the first half, Kayla Peevy finds Shaneka Gordon. Gordon uses her exceptional speed to shred the Cerritos defense and bang home a shot in the far corner. Kristen Collison engineers the second goal with a 20-yard throw-in to Gordon. Gordon collects and again knocks home a shot in the far corner. Cerritos rallies late in the second half on a penalty kick that barely scoots past the Cardinal keeper.

Sunday, September 16, 2007 vs Yuba (W 1-0)
CCBC Catonsville closed out its Florida swing with a 1-0 win over California's Yuba. Both teams played shot-for-shot in the first half, but could not capitalize. In the second half, CCBC Catonsville switched its formation to a 3-4-3, hoping to change the momentum. As a result, Kristen Collison finds Shaneka Gordon, who takes a few touches, and then hammers a shot in the upper 90 to give the Cardinals an insurmountable lead.
