Program Description:

The Flight Management program prepares students for employment in various business-related aviation career fields, including airport or airline management, airline dispatcher, cargo operations and fixed base operator (FBO) management. Careers are also available with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Department of Transportation (DOT) and other government agencies. Internships at nearby aviation-related businesses are available and encouraged as part of this program. Credits in this program transfer successfully to most four-year degree programs, however, acceptance of transfer credits is at the discretion of each institution. Courses may be taken in any sequence as long as prerequisites are met. Some courses are offered in alternate semesters.

This program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The attainment of this accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the Business Studies Department meet the rigorous educational standards established by the ACBSP.
