Program Description:
(Selected Admissions Process)
Admission into this program requires special selection. In order to be considered for admission, an applicant must have all prerequisites satisfied: VETT 106, BIOL 110, BIOL 220. Students must successfully complete, with a grade of "C" or better, all veterinary technology and science courses in order to continue in and complete the program.

The Veterinary Technology program accepts a class in the Fall of every academic calendar year. To be guaranteed consideration for spring admission to the program, all application materials must be completed by May 15. After May 15, applications will be accepted on a space available basis.

Students must be available to take courses in the day and evening. In addition, it may be necessary to attend Saturday classes and to travel to off-campus locations. (Transportation is not provided.) Students are required to undergo rabies immunization and furnish proof of health insurance prior to entering the clinical portion of the program and purchase a uniform.
