Multicultural Affairs
The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is committed to creating an environment which respects, appreciates, and values cultural differences. Its mission is to provide and promote pedagogical, personal, and professional learning opportunities to all members of the CCBC community in order to foster the creation of a multi-ethnic and multi-racial community. Within this general charge and in collaboration with existing college programs and offices, a major priority of the OMA is to facilitate the academic, professional, and personal development of CCBC students, staff, and faculty to foster the creation of a culturally conscious, multi-ethnic, and multi-racial college community. It also provides an array of services and programs that support the college’s efforts to recruit and retain a diverse student population.
