Ms. Trowbridge-Smith is a nationally recognized expert on Children's Theatre - theatre for and by young people. She is President and Artist Director of her own children's theatre company, The Children's Playhouse of Maryland. Children's Playhouse of Maryland produces year round. In addition, The Children's Playhouse of Maryland offers theatre classes and camps and provides scholarships for underserved populations. The Children's Playhouse of Maryland also tours to area public and private schools to perform. She is also a salaried consultant to Pumpkin Theatre, Inc., a Baltimore based professional children's theatre which uses adult actors. Finally, Ms. Trowbridge-Smith is the Director of Theatre for Beth Tfiloh Community School in Baltimore and manages the Performing Arts Center at the school. Ms. Trowbridge-Smith has combined a Theatre Degree from CCBC with a Business Degree from The University of Phoenix and has become a highly regarded and successful Theatre Management Professional.
