Interactive Video Network
The Interactive Video Network at the Community College of Baltimore
County allows students and faculty to simultaneously participate in and
lead classes in multiple sites in the Baltimore area as well as around
the world. The facilities are available for use by faculty, staff,
administrators and external groups for meetings, conferences and
interviews. The Interactive Video Network connects the Catonsville,
Dundalk and Essex campuses as well as the Owings Mill Center, Hunt
Valley Center and Baltimore City Community College. Dial-up capacity
through the Integrated System Digital Network (ISDN) phone line allows
connections with any compatible system throughout the world.
The order of priority for use of the Interactive Video System is college
credit classes/non-credit classes, educational seminars/workshops and
career programs, faculty and staff activities, non-profit community
groups sponsoring educational programs or cultural programs and profit
making enterprises whose activities may benefit the college and
