Teleconference and Satellite Services
CCBC-TV Teleconferences can be distributed to several conference rooms
on the CCBC Catonsville and Essex Campuses. Satellite dishes are
available to downlink cable programming, instructional materials and
teleconferences. The station provides receive-and-record satellite
downlink services, with wired viewing halls for small and large groups
of up to 145 persons in the following locations:

Both C-Band and Ku-Band satellite dishes are available.
CCBC Clients should complete the Teleconference Request Form
(Request Form) at least 2 weeks before the date of the event.
External clients should complete the Teleconference Application
Contract for Use of College Facilities (Request Form)
. The client pays all teleconference licensing and copyright fees, and
supplies CCBC-TV with the necessary technical information to facilitate
the downlink of the event. The current service charge is $375.00 for up
to four (4) hours and $600.00 for 4 - 8 hours, payable in advance of
each teleconference event.
Service includes: Receiving Hall, Video projector, TV Monitors, Large
screen, Telephone line/Fax line, and Public Address System. Catering
services are available and can be arranged for an additional charge.
Videotape recording of the event is available at a cost of $40.00 per
hour plus tape costs. CCBC-TV reserves the right to recover other costs
not described herein once they have been discussed with the client and
identified in a written agreement.
