REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL
The following courses were developed by the Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training (MCCACET) in order to meet the newly established criteria for Appraisal licensing effective January 1, 2008. The courses (REA019, REA020, REA021 and REA173) have been approved by the Appraisal Foundation and the Maryland Real Estate Appraisers and Home Inspectors Commission. Attendance is mandatory; students must pass a final exam in each course. In addition to the classroom requirements, each student must complete, and be able to document, 2000 hours of appraisal work experience before sitting for the state licensing exam. The college does not arrange for the work experience or administer the licensing exam.
