Spanish for people with little or no Spanish language skills who work with spanish speakers in the workplace Command Spanish® is an occupation-based Spanish program that delivers learner-friendly instruction that is grammar free, easy, fun and quick. We offer Spanish for people with little or no Spanish language skills who work with Spanish speakers in the workplace.

General Nursing Spanish
Total Cost: $146 (Tuition: $33 Fees: $113)
Non-Spanish-speaking nurses will be trained in functional Spanish language skills to better communicate with Spanish-speaking patients. Learn how to take a patient's history, vital signs, physical assessment, perform routine procedures and emergency measures. You will also be instructed in understanding the Hispanic health belief system. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary. Price includes a manual with audio CDs that you will receive in class. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation.

Spanish for Construction Sites
Total Cost: $146 (Tuition: $33 Fees: $113)
Designed to enable non-Spanish speaking construction site employees to communicate with Spanish speaking employee. Topics include: using Spanish to greet and compliment employees, expressing numbers, measurements and fractions, assisting with employment and scheduling issues, controlling safety and medical situations, and issuing commands for general and specific construction tasks. Price includes a manual with audio CD's that you will receive in class. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation.

Spanish for the Community

Get a grasp of key words or phrases of kindness or respect in the Spanish language that will be helpful to you when you encounter Latinos in the course of your daily activities. In addition, you will gain a better understanding of the most common cultural differences between Latinos and non-Latinos. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary. Price includes a manual with audio CDs that you will receive in class. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation.

Command Spanish for Realtors
Total Cost: $139 (Tuition: $33 Fees: $106)
If you are a non-Spanish-speaking realtor, learn to use Spanish to: greet people; engage in etiquette and social niceties; introduce oneself and others; count to 2000; acquire names, addresses, and phone numbers; inquire about employment history; ask for basic financial and housing information; and describe features of homes to clients. Realtors will also be familiarized with Fannie Mae financing publications printed in the Spanish language. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation.

Command Spanish for Restaurant Staff
Total Cost: $139 (Tuition: $33 Fees: $106)
Restaurant staff who are non-Spanish speaking can learn functional skills in Spanish including greeting, instructing, and complimenting employees, explaining employment issues, directing employees in the proper handling of food, cleaning and safety. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation. Price includes a manual with audio CD's that you will receive in class.

Command Spanish for Bank Employees
Total Cost: $139 (Tuition: $33 Fees: $106)
The non-Spanish speaking bank employee can learn how to communicate with Spanish speaking customers and clients even if you do not have any prior knowledge of Spanish. Topics include greeting customers/clients, expressing/receiving dollar amounts and dates, cashing checks, assisting with deposits/withdrawals, changing currency, selling money orders, certifying checks/Traveler's checks, verifying ID's, and obtaining basic information. Includes a two-hour cross-cultural awareness presentation. Price includes a manual with audio CD's that you will receive in class.
