Writing & Grammar 2  $175, $65 seniors
This course will help high intermediate students improve specific writing and grammar skills. Topics to be covered include: drafting, organizing, writing, and editing; compound and complex sentences; and appropriate verb tenses. A placement test is required. Ten weeks/60 hours. Reading & Vocabulary 2 $175, $65 seniors
This course will help high intermediate students improve reading skills, expand vocabulary, summarize and express opinions. Topics to be covered include: decoding new vocabulary, using context clues in reading, and identifying the main idea. A placement test is required. Ten weeks/60 hours. Materials included. Conversation 2  $175, $65 seniors
This course will help high intermediate students develop fluency, accuracy, and listening skills in oral conversations. Topics to be covered include: communication strategies, informal and formal conversation in academic and workplace settings. A placement test is required. Ten weeks/60 hours. Materials included. This course is designed to help advanced students enhance their English proficiency, developing skills in academic reading and note taking. Topics to be covered include: summarizing and interpreting passages, decoding new vocabulary, study skills, and interpreting assignments. A placement test is required. Ten weeks/60 hours. Advanced Conversation 2  $175, $65 seniors
This course is designed to help advanced students improve their level of comprehension, fluency, and accuracy in oral conversations.
