Learn basic English for workplace and community settings. Classes start in September and continue for 10 weeks/60 hours, two times a week. New students must take a pre-test at registration. Materials included. To register see ESOL Program Placement Testing and Registration.

Designed to help advanced foreign born adults, topics to be covered include: speaking and listening skills, the American family, cultural diversity, government and politics in the United States, cultural conversations in workplace and academic settings. 10 weeks/60 hours. ESOL Family Literacy for Parents and Children
mprove reading, speaking, writing and listening skills focusing on materials used in everyday situations. Designed for parents and their elementary school aged or younger children topics include training on parents as full partners in their children's education. Pre-school and/or childcare provided, with educational activities that focus on the preparation of children for success in school and other life experiences. Parenting groups and home visits offered.
