Classes for Gifted & Talented Students

The CCBC Youth Enrichment Center is pleased to offer enrichment classes for gifted and talented students in grades 3-8 who are participants in the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) G/T Program. Please fill out the enclosed form and have your school G/T facilitator or principal confirm your G/T status. For non-Baltimore County Public Schools students, please email Ang Robinson. Chocolate Lovers (Grades 5-8) NEW $129

Love chocolate? This is the class for you. Students have fun making chocolate cakes, truffles, mouse, and more. Impress everyone with your homemade chocolate desserts! Materials fee of $35 payable at first class. Instructor: Megan Dimmock

Bring Shakespearean scenes and sonnets to life. Through improvisation, theatre games and voice and movement exercises, young actors learn about acting Shakespeare from a Baltimore Shakespeare Festival teaching artist.

Learn basic survival skills such as how to start a fire, how to cook outdoors, what to do when encounter a bear, and how to recognize poisonous plants. Each session students explore a new trail, study wild life and discover Maryland's natural beauty and ecology.
