Welcome to the 2008 Summer Learning Adventures Program at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex campus. We are excited to have your child be a part of our fun-filled summer learning program. Please take a moment to complete the students information and consent form and return it to us by fax or at the following address before the June 23rd deadline.

The CCBC Summer Learning Adventures Camp Student Information and Consent Form is considered confidential and will be used by the Creative Arts Center only. This information may be reviewed by a representative of the Maryland State Department of Health as part of our annual camp inspection for licensing/certification.

Please make sure the form is filled out completely and sign and date it in the designated areas on the back of the form. All information must be filled out before your child begins his/her camp session. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 410.455.4700.

Full day camps or two half-day sessions at the Essex campus will include a lunch period from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Students must bring a bag lunch that does not require refrigeration. There is a full service cafeteria which student's can purchase lunch for a nominal fee. Vending machines are also available on campus, so have plenty of change or $1 bills.

The College reserves the right to cancel any camp classes when there is insufficient enrollment. If we must cancel a camp class you will be notified by mail or telephone and 100% of the tuition will be refunded to you by mail or you can register for another class.and return it to us by fax or at the following address before the June 23rd deadline.

Registration: Please register early. Registration and payment are available by mail, walk-in, telephone, online and FAX. A registration form is included in this brochure. Please print and include one form per registering student. Tuition payment is due at time of registration. Beginning in early June, camp information packets will be sent to registered students and will include health and safety, Emergency and Personal Information forms, maps and parking information. Students are required to fill out and return health and safety forms two weeks prior to their camp start date. Proof of standard vaccinations is required.

Course Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

The college reserves the right to cancel any camp when there is insufficient enrollment. If we must cancel a camp you will be notified by mail and telephone. If the college cancels a camp session, 100 percent of the tuition and fees will be refunded by mail. Please allow six weeks from the date of cancellation to receive the refund. To receive a refund or to drop/add a class, a student must notify the Continuing Education division at least three (3) days prior to the start of the class. Refunds are processed in check form. Despite our best efforts, occasionally an error may occur in a camp description, tuition, camp cost, fee or other entry in the camp brochure. In the event of a printing error, the college reserves the right to apply the corrected information.
