Professional Development Conference Booklet
The booklet includes: conference overview and highlights; detailed schedule and workshop descriptions; as well as picnic details and activities.

Ready to Register?

Please read the instructions below before logging onto the system as procedures regarding using your User Name have changed. These instructions pertain to both first-time and returning web registration users. Make sure you have your Course Reference Numbers (CRNs) for the sessions for which you plan to register prior to beginning the registration process. The CRN is listed below the session title in the printed conference booklet you received or online. To print out these instructions to guide you through the on-line registration process, click the printer icon located on the left or click print in your browser's navigation bar.

Step 1 - Log on to the system
As of March 15, 2005 your Social Security Number is no longer your ID to enter the Conference Section. If you have logged on to Banner web since this date and have a new User Name, simply use that name. If you don’t have a new Banner User Name, you must create one first. Here’s how: From the CCBC home page, go to MyCCBC, click on the simon log on. Read the instructions and click on the Log On button in the top right corner. Follow the directions to create your new User Name. For complete instructions on how to log onto the Conference System click here.
 
Once you have your User Name, you are ready to enter the Conference System.

Employee Conference WEB User:

User Name - Enter your Online Information System user name (DO NOT USE any Other Banner ID for Conference Registration).
(Please Note: You do not need to enter your PIN. If you need to log into the system again, the login procedure will be same as above.)

Step 2 - Register for Classes  

Option 1: For Employees Who Know Their PDC Course Reference Number (CRN - The Course Reference Number just below he session title)

  1. Log into the system with your username.

  2. Click "Register for Conference".

  3. Click "Select Conference".

  4. On the Select Conference Page, Choose "2008 Professional Dev Day" from the drop down box.

  5. Click "Add/Drop Classes". (Click here to view a screen shot)

  6. Enter PDC Course Reference # (CRNs) under the heading " Add Classes Worksheet".
    Click on "Submit Changes " to officially register. (Click here to view a screen shot)

  7. Continue to Step 7 Below.
Option 2: For Employees Who Do Not Know Their PDC Course Reference Number (CRN) And Wish to Search for Classes:
  1. Log into the system with your username.

  2. Click "Register for Conference".

  3. Click "Look Up Classes to Add".

  4. On the Select Conference Page, Choose "2008 Professional Dev Day" from the drop down box.

  5. On the Look Up Classes Page, select: "Professional Dvlpmnt Conf (PDC)" next to the Subject box.
    Click the "Class Search" box. (Click here to view a screen shot)

  6. You will be shown all the classes that fit your selection criteria. When you place a check mark next to a class, you are given the options to "Register" or "Add Classes to Worksheet". Click the Register option, which will officially register you for the class(es) that you have checked. (Click here to view a screen shot)

  7. Verify Your Registration
    Under "Current Schedule" verify your enrollment status. The Status listed in the right column should say "Web Registered " and display the date for all classes which you are officially registered. If you cannot view your sessions, use the scrollbar at the bottom to move the screen to the left or right.

  8. Registration Problems
    If a class for which you tried to register or add does not appear under “Current Schedule”, scroll down and check “Registration Errors ”. If the Status column indicates "Time Conflict" or "Closed Course", "Duplicate Course", or other message, you will not be able to register for that specific reason. You may resume registering for other sessions by clicking "Class Search" on the bottom of the screen.

  9. Adding Classes
    To add additional sessions, start at the "Lookup Classes to Add" screen or enter the CRN in the "Add Class" table on the "Registration/Add/Drop Classes" screen. When you have completed adding and/or dropping, click " Submit changes".

  10. Dropping Classes
    To drop sessions for which you are registered, click "Add/Drop Classes" . Using the options that are available in the "Action" field you may drop any session. If no options are listed in the " Action" field then the session may not be dropped. When you have completed adding and/or dropping, click " Submit Changes ". Once you have dropped a session, you will not be able to re-register for that same session using the Web.

  11. Print Your Schedule
    Click on "Return to Menu" at the upper right side of the screen. On the Menu, click on "Employee Detail Schedule".

Step 3 - Exit the System  

  1. Click on “Exit” at the upper right side of the screen.

  2. Close your browser
