Weekend College FAQs

1. Parking? Parking is free on all CCBC campuses. For student convenience there are call boxes located on all parking lots.
2. Food Services? Vending machines are located in many lobbies throughout CCBC buildings serving sandwiches, soup, hot and cold beverages, and snacks. Many lobbies also have microwave ovens for student use. Hopefully, in the near future the cafeterias will be open part of the weekend.
3. Library Services? Libraries are open Fridays from 8:00am to 4:30pm; Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and closed on Sundays at Catonsville. Fridays from 8:30am to 10:00pm; Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and closed on Sundays at Dundalk. Fridays from 8:00am to 4:30pm; Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and closed on Sundays at Essex.
4. Cashier? Cashier's Office is closed on weekends. Weekday hours are 9:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:00am to 4:30pm on Friday. Weekend students may pay bills on-line through the CCBC Online Information System, or by phone 410-402-0040, or by mail to the Bursar's Office at your campus.
5. Child Care? Child care services are not provided on weekends.
6. Student Activities? Many student activities take place on the weekend from plays to paint ball battles. Each campus publishes through e-mail and newsletter notices of monthly student activities.
7. Tutoring? Tutoring is available on the Catonsville campus on Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Tutoring is available on the Essex campus on Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. CCBC Cyber Tutoring is available for all students.
8. Gym and Pool? The gym and pool are open from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Dundalk campus.
9. Student ID? Weekend students must come to the Records Office (Catonsville K206, Dundalk A Lobby, Essex A150) during regular weekday hours of Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 7:00pm, or Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm for ID cards.
10. Public Safety? Public Safety Offices are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
11. Bookstore? Open 2 Saturdays at the beginning of each semester at all campuses. Weekend students can purchase books on-line anytime at www.bookstore.ccbcmd.edu/catonsville or www.bookstore.ccbcmd.edu/dundalk or www.bookstore.ccbcmd.edu/essex.
12. MTA Bus Service? MTA bus schedule.
13. Career Development Services? Job searching? CCBC College central is on-line and available 24/7.
