The Community College of Baltimore County understands that there are
many challenges facing parents today as they prepare to finance their
child's education. The number of steps involved and the various forms to
complete can seem overwhelming to those who have never experienced it
before. In an attempt to answer some of the questions that may come up,
the Financial Aid Offices of CCBC have created a page for the parents of
prospective students.
Every student considering enrollment at CCBC is encouraged to apply for
financial aid using the Free Application For Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA). The Financial Aid Office uses the results of this application
to determine each student's eligibility for federal grants, student
employment, federal loans, institutional scholarships and some state
scholarships. The Maryland Higher Education Commission also uses this
form to determine eligibility for most state scholarships.
To the left, you will find various links that will take you either to
informative pages within this web site or external web sites that are
used to apply for aid or assist financial aid applicants. Whether your
child qualifies for need based aid or not, the Financial Aid Offices are
ready to assist you and the student to successfully manage the costs
associated with advancing the student's education.
