English as a Second Language Opportunities

  • CCBC offers English as a Second Language classes that are designed to give international students the English language skills they need to succeed in the college classroom. 

  • English as a Second Language classes offer beginning through advanced instruction in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary development.

  • Students can take up to 12 hours of English as a Second Language classes a semester.

  • International students who complete the ESOL program can take credit classes at CCBC.

  • A selection of credit classes are open to students while they are taking ESOL.

  • State-of-the-art ESOL computer, audio, and video support is available on some campuses of CCBC.
