Topics will include: An overview of the history, culture, and landscape of England, Scotland and Wales, which are very distinct cultural and historical parts of Great Britain. Included will be a brief history of Great Britain; basic information about life in Great Britain; distinct characteristics of England, Scotland and Wales, art, architecture, music and literature; food, myths, folk stories and traditions and landscapes.

Overview of Trip:
Join us for a trip to England, Scotland and Wales. After an overnight flight from BWI to Heathrow airport, we'll begin our tour in London, the historic capital city of Britain. Highlights of this trip include a London theater performance, the historic town of Cambridge and its famous university, the medieval town of York, Edinburgh Castle in Scotland and the Palace of Holyroodhouse- former home of Mary, Queen of Scots. We'll explore the beautiful Lake District in England, home of the famous poet, William Wordsworth and there will be a night's stay in North Wales in the lovely Ruthin Castle. We'll also visit Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, the Roman town of Bath, known for more than 2000 years for its natural hot springs, and finally, Stonehenge of Celtic and Druid Lore.
