OVERVIEW:

Unpack your bags just once and stay at a single hotel for your entire adventure. Your tour begins in the beautiful Mediterranean city of Nice, a seaside paradise. We will cross the border of Italy and visit the charming town of Ventimiglia with its' twisted medieval alleys, and proceed to San Remo, the luxurious capital of the Italian Riviera. Alfred Nobel conceived of his prizes while residing in this city's inspirational surroundings. You will travel along the beautiful countryside, visit walled medieval towns and see the distinct light that inspired Matisse, Braque, Chagall and many other artists. A visit to the Fragonard Perfumerie in Grasse will teach you the secrets of making perfumes. You will travel along the wonderful coastline of France, visit St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the crown jewel of the French Riviera, visit the Rothschild Villa and Gardens, St. Tropez, once a fishing village, and now a fashionable resort, and Cannes, with the Old Town and elegant Boulevard de la Croisette. The trip will end with a visit to Monaco which features the famous Casino of Monte Carlo, the Place des Armes, Prince's Palace, Avenue des Beaux Artes, and the Cathedral of Monaco, where Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace are buried. You will also see the interesting Oceanographic Museum, which is a masterpiece of architecture and contains many marine artifacts. A farewell dinner will celebrate an unforgettable trip before you depart for home.
