OVERVIEW:
Explore the beauty and culture of South Africa. You will visitJohannesburg the biggest city in South Africa and its' financial hub. You will go on game drives in the famous Kruger National Park, where you will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of game, including the "big five" (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and Rhino) from open safari vehicles. Your travels will includetravelingthrough the Highveldplateauwith its thundering waterfalls, into the Mpumalanga, a province of sub-tropical savanna, deepravines emerald valleys, crystal-clear streams, teeming wildlife and fascinating history. You will visit the Lesedi Cultural Village, where you will experience the colorful traditions of Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people. From this area, you will fly to Cape Town, where there will be a city tour, and a tour of Table Mountain. This city is situated amongst majestic mountains and beautiful white beaches. In this area, you will tour 12 Apostles and Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak, and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where the waters of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. You will have the opportunitytoview penguins at Boulder's Beach, travel through the local wine regions and sample some wines at Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl. Finally there will be a trip to Robben Island, where there is a maximum security prison, which was a place of banishment, exile and isolation. Here rulers sent those considered to be political trouble makers, outcasts and the unwanted of society. During Apartheid, this prison was known for its' institutional brutality.

COST: $4,519.00 per person double occupancy. Single supplement: $499.00
