Located in the Learning Resource Center, the CCBC Dundalk library is an
environment that supports student learning by providing services,
programs, resources and technology that ensures the library users are
able to locate information and use it effectively for their immediate
needs and in the future learning endeavors. The library provides a
multimedia approach to learning, emphasizing the acquisitions of all
types of educational material: books, web resources, periodicals, films,
CD ROMs, databases, videos and other media. Nearly all material
circulate to faculty, students, and staff. We encourage all members of
the community to make use of the various services offered. The library
has an automated circulation system and a Library Information Lab with
new networked computers and an expanded LAN (Local Area Network).
Library instruction includes classes for a specific subject area, free
web workshops and individually scheduled sessions with a librarian. A
wide variety of material, an informal reading lounge, study carrels
equipped with audio visual equipment, computers that include Internet
access and many databases make the CCBC Dundalk library one of the most
up-to-date in higher education with their access to information.
