November 2007

  • 7th: Video Showing & discussion / Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke" (Catonsville Barn) 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • 9-10th: Women's Retreat "Pioneering Women" (3:30 pm - 9:30 pm) Holiday Inn Hotel / BWI-Thurgood Marshall, Maryland. Applications are now available on all three campuses. Application deadline is Wed., Oct. 17, 2007 by 4:30 pm...Return applications to your respective campus' Office of Multicultural Affairs.
  • 12-16th: International Education Week (IEW) All three campuses
  • 17th: Dr. Michael Eric Dyson "Come Hell or High Water" (Essex campus - B building theatre) 12:20 pm to 1:15 pm...Reception to follow

  • 10 - 15th: "Munch Breaks" Finals Week 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • 24th: WINTER RECESS

January 2008

  • 1st: COLLEGE REOPENS

February 2008

  • Black History Month (BHM) Events All Month (look for BHM Calendar)

  • 5th: Viewing & Discussion of "Come Hell or High Water"
  • 6th: Multicultural Women's Symposium (Essex - location TBD) 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • 21 - 28th: SPRING BREAK & 2008 HBCU TOUR (Tentatively Scheduled for New Orleans)
  • 29th: Classes Resum
