Vision: To better understand, value, appreciate and celebrate the cultural assets of CCBC's community of learners.

Mission: The mission of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is to increase access and equity for historically underrepresented groups, cultivate cultural awareness & appreciation and to improve CCBC's educational climate by fostering an inclusive and civil community.This is accomplished through advocacy, direct services and cultural programming.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is a unit within the Division of College Life.

Services provided by the Office of Multicultural Affairs

  • Educational and Cultural programming
  • Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT)
  • Diversity Training
  • Safe Zone Training

  • The Essex/Catonsville Cultural Diversity Committee
  • The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL)
  • Maryland Statewide Diversity Roundtable
  • 100 Black Men of Maryland
