CCBC Employee Giving Campaign raises $60,000 to support student scholarships and programs Funds raised exceed the $50,000 goal designated to celebrate the college’s 50th anniversary
Baltimore, Md. -- Employees at the Community College of Baltimore County “upped the ante” when the Employee Giving Campaign set a goal of raising $50,000 in honor of the college’s 50th anniversary. Employees proved that they were up for the challenge and actually exceeded the goal raising $60,000 to support student scholarships and programs at the college.
“CCBC faculty and staff are committed to our students’ success,” said CCBC President Sandra Kurtinitis. “Every donation made to the Employee Giving Campaign illustrated that commitment. We truly appreciate the generosity of our employees who have made it easier for students to get the support they need to be successful.”
The Employee Giving Campaign ran over a two month period, February through March, and generated nearly $20,000 more than last year’s campaign. This fundraising initiative is one of many that CCBC employees participate in during the year that support students or the community.
