Kevin Clash to address CCBC’s Early Childhood Education Conference
Conference theme: “Helping Children Reach Their Inner Elmo©”

Baltimore County, Md. - Early childhood professionals are encouraged to attend the Early Childhood Education Conference 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Community College of Baltimore County, Dundalk, featuring puppeteer Kevin Clash as keynote speaker and co-hosted by Early Childhood Educational Consultants. Clash, who performs as Sesame Street’s fuzzy red friend, Elmo, will deliver the address, “My Life as a Furry Red Monster: What Being Elmo has Taught Me About Life, Love and Laughing Out Loud.”

The conference will offer an engaging assortment of workshops, covering topics ranging from building literacy to teaching yoga, and carries a registration fee of $45 prior to March 1 or $50 after that date.The student registration fee is $20 (postmarked by March 1). Pre-registration is required, and there will be no on-site registration. Participants will receive three hours of continuing education credit, approved by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education.

This event is for early childhood professionals only and is not appropriate for children. It is not an Elmo appearance.
