Saturday celestial shows presented at CCBC Catonsville Banneker Planetarium presents Saturday morning lineup
Baltimore County, Md. – Let CCBC Catonsville’s Benjamin Banneker Planetarium put stars in your eyes at the Saturday Celestial Shows. Open to the public and free of charge, the shows will begin promptly at 10 a.m. in Room D-003 (Banneker Planetarium) at 800 South Rolling Road. Reservations are not necessary.

Benjamin Banneker Planetarium is a classroom-sized facility that has been in operation since 1966. It is equipped with a Spitz 1024 Projector, which produces images for about 2,300 stars.
The Planetarium is named for Benjamin Banneker, a free black who lived in the neighboring area of Oella and who, as a self-taught man of science, was the author of a series of almanacs during the 1790s. For additional information, call 410-455-4560.
