ABC2 and WERQ-FM/92Q’s -- Why Not a Career in Healthcare Fair?

Join us from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, March 7, as the Community College of Baltimore County hosts the ABC2 and WERQ-FM/92Q Why Not a Career in Healthcare Fair? in the “B” Building at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard. The health career fair, which targets middle school, high school and college students and parents, is free and open to the public. The Fair will include workshops, tours, booths and information on a wide array of health care career options.
The Community College of Baltimore County is the region’s largest provider of health care education. Its School of Health Professions currently offers 14 credit programs (dental hygiene, respiratory care therapy, emergency medical technology, veterinary technology, nursing, practical nursing, massage therapy, medical laboratory technology, mortuary science, occupational therapy assistant, radiography (X-ray), radiation therapy, mental health practitioner and physician assistant) leading to degrees or certificates. CCBC also offers 28 entry-level programs in health care including medical coding, nursing assistant, and pharmacy technician.
