CCBC implements new emergency alert system

Not sure if the college is closed due to inclement weather? Word of a power outage have you wondering if a campus at the Community College of Baltimore County is affected?

Get the news before it hits the local airways by signing up for CCBC’s new emergency alert system – Campus Alert.

Campus Alert is a free messaging service that allows users to stay on top of any emergency announcements distributed by the college. The service is offered in the form of text messages to mobile phones; voice calls to any phone or via e-mail. It’s a flexible system that’s ideal for students, parents, faculty, staff and community members who use CCBC facilities.

Users have the option of choosing any combination of message service delivery formats and can specify multiple phone numbers or e-mails for contact. Options to receive messages regarding the campuses or extension centers that interest you most are also available. Just tailor the system to meet your needs.

There’s no need to worry about your contact information being shared or abused. CCBC uses the system for emergency college alerts only and will not share contact information.
