Public Relations Learning Opportunities
This workshop is for anyone and any unit that mass produces
communications to students and/or residents. Whether one is announcing a
financial aid workshop, updating students about program course offerings
or inviting grant participants to an event, there may be a more timely
and cost-effective way to design and mail materials. This workshop is
presented upon request.

Confused about the process of publication
design and printing? Unsure of how and when to submit letters, flyers,
brochures, posters, invitations or classroom instructional materials?
This workshop will explain the design and printing process. Learn the
steps to getting your job done right and on time. The session will be
presented upon request.

The CCBC Speaker's Bureau is a free service offered to community
organizations as well as internal departments and other groups of
faculty and staff. Participating speakers include administrators,
faculty, staff and alumni from all campuses. Speakers are available for
both day and evening arrangements. One month's notice is requested in
order to make arrangements for a speaker. The length of most
presentations is 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question and answer
period. Some speeches include slide or video presentations. To become a

There is intense competition to get the media to notice stories. How can
you "break the ice" and receive the publicity your program deserves?
This one hour workshop will provide helpful tips about how to get that
terrific story into print, on the Web, and on television or radio. We
will discuss some essential questions to ask and provide important hints
on story development.
