Photo Submission Guidelines and Terms

• Each entrant may submit up to three images.
  
• To be considered, images must be submitted by 12 p.m., November 1, 2010.
  
• Images must be at least 5”x 7” at 300 dpi. Vertical (“portrait”) orientation is preferred. Horizontal or Landscape photos will be considered, but may require cropping to fit the calendar format.
  
• E-mail your TIFF or JPG files using the link below.
  
• Include your full name as it should appear in the credits, your relationship to the college (e.g., “student”), your e-mail, and your phone number. A brief description of your entry is optional. Finalists will be notified by e-mail.

By entering the contest, entrants grant the Community College of Baltimore County a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any educational, promotional, publicity, exhibition, archival, scholarly, and all other standard CCBC purposes. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. CCBC will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. Participants must be 18 or older.

For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must secure a model release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject’s parent or guardian and provide it to CCBC upon request. If your photo depicts a person who can be recognized in the photo, and it is selected for inclusion in the calendar, you must provide this release for it to be published. Download the release form.
