Security Alert Student computer labs and smart classrooms

Dear Colleagues:
The Community College of Baltimore County invests a significant amount
of effort and funds to maintain student computer labs and smart
classrooms at the highest level of technology. In order to protect this
equipment from theft as well as to eliminate any possible network
security threats, faculty and staff are reminded that at the conclusion
of class, students are required to leave the lab, and the door is to be
locked. Students are not permitted to remain in the lab without the
presence of the faculty member or other authorized monitor.
For your convenience open computers are available in various areas on
all three campuses. For instance, in the Essex Cyber Café, the
Cafeteria’s at Dundalk and Catonsville, as well at all three campus
libraries. Library hours can be found by visiting the following web

In order to maintain a conducive learning environment, Public Safety
seeks the support and assistance of the entire college community by
reporting any suspicious activity or security breeches to our office:
