CCBC Course Exams

The CCBC Testing Centers provide secure, centralized testing services to students enrolled in CCBC courses. This includes distance learning courses (online, self-paced, independent study), make-up tests (face-to-face classes instructor approved), accommodated testing (CCBC students registered with CCBC Disability Support Services. CCBC Distance Learning students living out of state and in need of a proctor may visit support services for distance learning students.

Testing Center Policies

  • Appointments to take tests in the Testing Centers are required.
  • Students must know their assigned CCBC ID number, the name of the instructor, as well as course name/number to schedule appointments.
  • All students must present an acceptable picture ID that has a printed name and a recognizable photograph. Acceptable forms of photo identification include: a current driver's license, a state approved ID, high school or middle school ID**, college ID, current state or federal ID card, current passport, tribal ID card, naturalization card or certificate of citizenship. **Must have a picture with date and not older than 4 years.
  • Electronic devices (such as cell phones and any other electronic devices) must be turned off and put away before entering the Testing Center.
  • Ear buds and headphones that are not provided by the Testing Center must be removed and put away before entering the Testing Center.
  • Tobacco products, food, drink, and chewing gum are not allowed in the Testing Center.
  • Only people actively taking a test are permitted in the Testing Center. Other people (age 16 and older) accompanying the test taker may wait outside the Testing Center. Children may not be left unattended. View CCBC's policy regarding children of students on campus.
  • Testing Center staff will terminate the testing session and report any student suspected of violating the Code of Conduct to the student's instructor and Judicial Affairs along with any evidence of suspected academic dishonesty for disciplinary action.
