TURNING POINT ARTICLE: INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES

Practice your answers to some hard questions an interviewer might ask:

  1. Why did you leave your last job? There are many answers to this question. You could say that your company was attempting to consolidate positions.
  2. Did you like your last boss? Keep it positive - avoid saying anything negative about your last/current boss.
  3. Name 2 or 3 negative things about your last job. The best thing to say is that you can't think of anything negative to say about your previous/current job.
  4. Why should we hire you? Say that you have the qualifications that the employer is looking for. Experience allows you to easily adapt to any number of working conditions. REMEMBER: In all questions avoid negativity!
