What LearningFirst Means To Me
The concept of LearningFirst was given life and birth to save the brave at heart. By far, this is not a list of rules and regulations but a method on how to weather the plagues of this day and age. Plagues that cage the determined mindset of accomplishment. The seven knights were sent to vanquish the myth that community colleges aren't capable and unlike Nike, they just can't do it. And through their swords they ward off evils that worldly devils do. Discourage. Diminish. Dampen. Dilute.
These are some of the villains that are killing and polluting our diamonds in the rough, our, we got the right stuff, diverse students. These soldiers speak fluent to all races, ages, creeds, and destinies. The tragedies of traditional learning are shattered by the learning college hammer. I've increased my stamina with the help of my learning support cohort. Enrollment management and management excellence creates a fence when I need protection. While embracing diversity gives me the heartbeat needed to love all races regardless of their dimensions with affection and appreciation. Thank God for building community because during these times we need unity between conscious minds and the streets.
Now I can close the digital divide with the bridge that the hands of infusing technology provides. I'm stronger inside and my passion I can confide because LearningFirst has evolved from a thought transformed into a vision, saturated into our reality. Wholeheartedly I envision my Catonsville as the fruit and the students as its seeds. This is the future pathway of community; sculpting the image of a unique, creative, innovative family. This is what LearningFirst means to me.
