TLC2 is a semester/year long training program specifically
designed to meet the technology needs of faculty wishing to
enhance their classes through the use of various computer
technologies. TLC2 uses a semester long approach in order to
provide on-going assistance as the participants (faculty)
learn and experiment with new teaching strategies using
technology. The following is a sample of the class levels
and topics offered through TLC2 classes. The exact classes
and topics offered on each campus may vary, and interested
persons should consult with the campus TLC2 coordinator a
few weeks prior to the beginning of each semester to obtain
the latest information for that semester.
The Beginning cohort will receive hands-on
instruction in word processing, spreadsheets, databases,
Internet browsing, PowerPoint, and email. This group will
learn how to develop materials for the classroom. The
beginning group will meet for 1.5 hours weekly for a full
