Enrollment Steps Checklist

SUBMIT the Admissions application either to the Office of Records and Registration on the Essex campus or the Admissions Office on the Catonsville and Dundalk campuses

PAY the $15.00 application fee in the Bursar’s Office

REQUEST official (sealed) transcripts and SAT/ACT scores, if available, from high school or colleges. Transcripts can be mailed to the CCBC Office of Records and Registration of the campus you wish to attend or hand delivered in an un-opened envelope

APPLY for financial aid if you plan to obtain a certificate or associate’s degree. The application for financial aid can be found online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The CCBC school code is 002063

MEET with an advisor to determine if placement testing is necessary. Bring copies of transcripts (official or unofficial) from previous colleges or grade reports, and SAT or ACT scores (if available)

INQUIRE about reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities available through the Office of Special Services

COMPLETE the placement test, if necessary, in the Testing Center. Appointments are not required. The best times to test are: Monday --Thursday 9:00am – 6:00pm or Friday, 9:00am – 11:00am. Meet with an advisor for test results and assistance with course selection and/or orientation

ATTEND an orientation session for new students (SOAR)

REGISTER for classes either in the Office of Records and Registration, online, or during the scheduled orientation (SOAR) for new students

PAY tuition and fees and/or arrange for payment in the Bursar’s Office. The FACTS management payment plan is available. Copies of the Schedule/Bill are also available at the Bursar’s Office

BUY textbooks in the CCBC Bookstore, located on each of the three campuses
