Explore the history of the Winters Lane Community, April 24 at CCBC Catonsville

CCBC and the Catonsville Historical Society present “The Winters Lane Community in Catonsville,” 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 in the Hilton Center at CCBC Catonsville, featuring a talk by Teri Rising, county historian from the Baltimore County Department of Planning.

The Winters Lane National Register Historic District represents the legacy of the African American residents who first settled along the southern end of Winters Lane and its cross streets following the Civil War. Explore the residential and institutional buildings that serve as physical reminders and important historic links to the cultural aspects of life for residents and friends of the community, both past and present.
