Your great idea could be worth $20K in CCBC Business Plan Competition
Oct 12, 2020CCBC’s Center for Business Innovation is accepting entries to its Eighth Annual Business Plan Competition, offering a top prize of $20K for a budding entrepreneur. A total of $62,500 in seed money will be awarded among the top six finalists.
The Business Plan Competition first-place winner will receive $20K and a range of valuable start-up resources. CCBC’s top Business students will provide support in marketing, sales, website development, accounting, and human resources to help the new entrepreneurs launch their businesses. Local business owners will serve as mentors.
The Center for Business Innovation has helped launch nearly 30 new businesses over the last seven years, due in great part to community support and generous sponsorships. This year’s Business Plan Competition sponsors are: Philip E. and Carol R. Ratcliffe Foundation Inc., CCBC Business Club, CCBC Alumni Association, CCBC Foundation Inc., Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce, Fully Promoted Arbutus and Chick-fil-A®.
