CCBC celebrates the Class of 2021

Jun 13, 2021

In a virtual commencement ceremony held June 5, the college community recognized the many notable achievements of the CCBC Class of 2021. More than 700 of this year’s nearly-3,000 remarkable graduates were featured in a video celebration.

The Class of 2021 Student Commencement Address was presented by Daniel Harrison, this year's President's Distinguished Graduate. During his remarks, Harrison encouraged his fellow graduates to live in the moment and appreciate life for what it is.

“When everything seems to be going against us,” Harrison said, “let us remember that an airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. Class of 2021, CCBC has given each of us our wings. It is now time for us to fly!”

In a recent President’s Blog post, CCBC President Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis characterized the Class of 2021 as “well on their way to accomplishing remarkable things. Read the entire blog post here.»
