Ernest Eley, Jr.
He completed the Certificate Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government, in 2014 at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. Eley is a candidate for his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. He has a Bachelor of Arts, in Political Science from Virginia State University, Ettrick, VA.
Eley is the recipient of an award from the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, Maryland’s Proactive Community Supervision Model, which is recognized as one of six best evidence-based correctional practices in the United States. He has a long history of service on civic and church boards including the Health and Human Services Referral Board, Invictus Reentry Maryland, Inc., and is Chairman of the Board of Providence Baptist Church, Inc.
