James G. Gresham is currently the coordinator of Assessments, Training and Test Security for Baltimore City Public Schools, where he has worked since 2002. He is responsible for administering multiple test programs for approximately 83,000 students enrolled in the public school system.

Dr. Gresham also serves as the Executive Program Director for the New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown’s Academic Center for Excellence where he oversees all components of the Maryland State Department of Education and the Baltimore County Office of Community Conservation sponsored ACE Tutorial and Enrichment Programs.

From 1999 to 2007, Gresham served as a Case Manager at First Home Care/Mount Clare House and oversaw cases of at-risk youth residing in a residential group home. He worked several years for Verizon Corporation as a Project Manager developing corporate training initiatives.

He also served as a teacher from 1989 to 1996 in the Baltimore City Public School System and taught Math, Geometric Concepts, and Basic Algebra Principles.

Gresham received his bachelor of science in Business Administration in 1991 from Morgan State University, received his masters of Education in Special Education Administration in 1997 from Coppin State University, and received his Doctorate of Education from Morgan State University in 2008.

He is the recipient of the 2009 Governor’s Award for Outstanding Community Service, the 2009 Dr. Martin Luther King Content of Character Award and the 2007 Baltimore County Good Neighbor Award.
