The CCBC Essex STEM Center, in conjunction with the Committee for LGBTQIA+ Advocacy, Support and Inclusion (CLASI) is hosting a hybrid reading and discussion of Forest Euphoria: The Abounding Queerness of Nature by Dr. Patricia Ononiwu Kaishan. There will be a live reading accompanied by facts about forest ecology, promoting students to think about the spaces where they feel euphoria. We will discuss how cultural ideas shape our perception of nature, and the various sex and gendered variations of the natural world as presented in the book.
